EC Rider Level Program Levels 1-8

 We are now officially introducing the EC Rider levels at BR Equestrian, we are one of the only barns in the area who are able to do this!  

The Equestrian Canada “Learn to Ride” program is a national program based on current standards of riding and the Canadian Long-Term Equestrian Development model. The English Learn to Ride program includes levels 1-10. 

The purpose of this program is to produce well-rounded horsemen and women, who are able to care for and ride their horses in a correct, safe manner. 

This program is suitable for recreational riders as well as riders that are looking to be competitive. 

Once riders are ready, they are evaluated by a certified Equestrian Canada Evaluator at our farm.

 The our program is designed to be guided by our Certified  Coaches, to ensure that the concepts are clearly understood before the rider progresses to more challenging levels.

 The program provides an opportunity for riders to progress, demonstrating their skills through a series of increasingly complex written tests, interviews, and under-saddle jump and flat rides and unmounted practical tests. 

 What you need to know: You do not have to be a current student to get a level!  It includes one practical lesson and one riding lesson per week.  These EC Levels are recognized worldwide, so if you do a level and pass, you get a certificate that will be recognized everywhere! We are offering Rider levels 1-8 at the moment.

   We have 2 EC qualified testers on staff. At the end of the 6 weeks, riders will be tested with a written and riding test.  These levels are HARD, please check with your coach on what level you should start at.

Our program is 6 weeks per level with mock tests to ensure riders are adequately prepared! 

Cost per session is $795 per rider, per 6 week session.
