Charles is our smallest member at just under 13hh - but don't let that fool you - he's super smart and talented. Charles teaches everyone from our newest riders to those working on small courses. He's 'been there, done that' and a solid, steady teacher.
Magic is 15hh and is a jumper through and through! She loves to dabble in the dressage ring and show you her fancy moves, but she is a very forward ride. Magic doesn’t have one mean bone in her body, she just sometimes thinks she’s on the racetrack! She is very curious and kind but loves to have fun. She will jump anything from anywhere and can take a joke. She is very talented in dressage and is a perfect fit for our intermediate to advanced riders. She is a horse that has a lot to teach you!
Raven is a 15hh Percheron/Tennessee Walker cross mare. She is more woah then go and will babysit her rider. She requires a lot of leg but once you get her going she jumps like a dream. Raven enjoys a good grooming and will stand for hours to get fussed over. Raven is used on our Dressage team and has quite a few hidden moves.
Canon aka “Morr McNaughton Lou II Ray” is our resident Canadian! He is 16.2hh and will be 19 this year. Canon has truly done it all. He comes with some experience in everything including jumpers, dressage, cross country and even endurance. Canon is the perfect gentleman for any rider at any age. He loves to babysit younger kids, and jump the big jumps with our advanced riders. He is a pretty smooth straightforward ride, but he will make sure you are always paying attention.
Duke is a 15.3 paint/draft cross. He is a kind ride. Honest. Forgiving and not spooky at all. We love to use Duke for our Learn to ride programs because he is just so good with people learning. He’s a patient boy who loves affection and is a no buck/rear/bolt type of horse. Duke also enjoys playing with our intermediate riders though, he loves to jump and learn new things !
Daisy is a 13.2 POA/QH chestnut with a blanket bum markings! She is one of our favourites as she can teach a new rider, or jump around a 2'9 course with ease. This pretty girl is quite stocky and can take a small adult rider. She's very sweet and loves her people. She's very steady and loves her people.
Holly is a 14 year old, 14hh large Welsh pony mare with an extensive eventing background. She does 2nd level dressage and is a very talented jumper who makes a wonderful show partner. She offers a forward ride with a lot of enthusiasm for our more advanced riders and steady as can be for those learning. She would prefer if you never touched her with a brush, but boy is she an amazing horse to ride. Holly really aims to please in everything she does and is game to take on anything in front of her!
Classy aka “TVR's Classified Elegance” is a 16 year old, 16hh, a paint/percheron registered North American Spotted Draft Horse! She is a great confident booster and as honest as they come! She has had all types of riders on her and she really takes care of her rider. She has three solid and smooth gates, with the comfiest canter! We’ve jumped her about 2’3 with room to go higher. She can be packaged up nicely and will travel in a frame and has a beautiful lead change. There’s no prep with her, she’s the same horse day in and day out and is a huge try hard! She has a puppy dog personality on the ground and just loves to be spoiled.
Deer Country Ginger "Potato" is our resident Fjord!
This incredible 13.2 hh mare is an absolute favourite. Slowing down in her older years, she teaches riders of all ages to walk, trot, canter and jump. She is the ultimate confidence builder and bombproof partner. Potato comes in 2 varieties - "Sweet Potato" is her temperament with newer riders - sweet, calm, slow and loving; "Spicey Potato" is the version the more experienced riders receive - the horse that can jump small courses at speed and can do a first level dressage test with ease and energy!
Bee is a 14.3 Arab/QH cross who used to be a working cow horse. Now in her more relaxed life, she's an absolute barn favourite who does everything and has the smoothest gaits. She's a steady partner who loves to teach her riders the ropes. Has shown, has been on the dressage team - placing at everything she does!
Z is a 15.3 OTTB and probably one of the bounciest horses people have ridden. His gaits are completely consistent - he's a true hunter/dressage horse with natural rhythm - super athletic - does 1st level dressage and has jumper 3'6 with ease.
